Job summary

Alibaba Group in Pakistan seeks a Payments Operations Lead to manage end-to-end regional payment operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments, with hands-on experience in banking portals, bank uploads, H2H, MT940, and bank integrations.

You will drive ERP-based finance processes, perform bank reconciliations, and lead remote regional teams while focusing on controls, process improvement, and automation.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years in payments, banking operations, treasury and finance operations.
• MBA / ACCA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.

Job description

Manage end-to-end regional payment operations and ensure timely and accurate payments.Strong hands-on understanding of banking portals, bank uploads, and payment files.Experience with Host-to-Host (H2H), MT940, and bank integrations.Good understanding of manual and auto bank reconciliation.Hands-on experience with ERP systems and finance/payment processes.Ability to manage remote teams and regional stakeholders effectively.Strong focus on controls, process improvement, and automation.Good understanding and practical use of AI/automation tools to improve efficiency.Strong Excel, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience in e-commerce, fintech, technology, or other high-volume businesses is preferred.
