Job summary

Daraz seeks a Treasury Lead to manage regional cash forecasting, liquidity, and intercompany transfers across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. You will optimize bank relationships, implement electronic payment transitions, and ensure alignment with Alibaba Group treasury policies.

The role requires 8+ years in corporate treasury, strong risk management, and proficiency with TMS and SAP. You will report to the local CFO and collaborate with global treasury teams to maximize capital

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or professional certification preferred.
Minimum 8 years in corporate treasury with cross-border exposure; multinational environment experience.
Strong treasury systems, ERP capability, risk analysis and financial modeling knowledge.
Deep understanding of global banking, AML/sanctions, and capital markets.

Responsibilities

Lead regional cash forecasting, liquidity management, and intercompany transfers across key markets.
Drive initiatives to maximize idle cash in high-yield savings per policy.
Oversee treasury process reviews ensuring internal controls and SOP alignment.
Optimize banking relations and reduce fees through regional rationalization.
Phase out cheque-based payments in favor of secure electronic settlements.
Coordinate bank guarantees and migrate to international banks under centralized framework.
Monitor treasury risks and elevate/resolve exposures.
Prepare monthly treasury reports on cash, guarantees, loans, and FX revaluations.
Benchmark internal FX rates against bank rates for LK and PK.
Design cross-border cash pooling and funding structures for international ops.
Lead dispersed treasury team with clear KPIs and governance.
