Job summary

Sundaram Finance Limited in Zhob, Pakistan seeks an experienced Senior Credit Underwriter to lead underwriting of loan proposals, ensure policy adherence, and manage a quality-focused underwriting team. The role requires analyzing credit risk, evaluating asset classes, assessing income with or without financials, and applying CPC policies.

You will conduct portfolio analyses, provide MIS, and collaborate with other verticals to maintain the lowest delinquency possible.

Qualifications

• MBA with aggregate of at least 60% (no arrears).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in credit underwriting.
• Knowledge of CPC policies and credit guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loan proposals in line with credit policy and risk tolerance.
• Escalate deviations and decisions per delegation authority.
• Manage underwriting team and ensure quality control.
• Policy adherence, process auditing, and MIS reporting.
• Regular customer and market visits to assess behavior and risk.
