Job summary

Accurate Pvt, Ltd is seeking a full-time on-site Costing & Proposal Engineer at our Head Office for a permanent position. The role focuses on costing and proposal of Digital Meters, requiring 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Our company is the sister firm of IZHAR construction company Pvt Ltd. Accurate Pvt, Ltd (Digital Meters manufacturing firm) is seeking a full-time on-site Costing & Proposal Engineer to join our team at Head Office for permanent post. The ideal candidate should have expertise in costing and proposal of Digital Meters.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Review of Tender Documents (Like Drawings, Specification & BOQ etc.) to understand the scope and ensure all the required information is provided for bidding process.
• To minutely study RFQs and identify customer need for preparation of commercial proposals.
• To coordinate with design department for predesign and prepare the BOQ against customer needs.
• To get the material rate from procurement department as well as from market (Local & international), if required.
• To coordinate with customers regarding due clarifications, requirement and other enquiry related matters.
• Assist the Planning & Contract department in providing the budgetary and proper bid submission.
• Prepare Techno commercial Proposal in accordance with requirement of customer.
• Meeting with client / consultant to kill the ambiguities for proper bid submission.
• Technical and financial evaluation and comparison of quotations of suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Pricing material and labor cost for all BOQ items using comparison and pre-determined manpower production rate.
• Give Review of final summary and commercial proposal to higher management.
• Preparation of project documents (Material Submittal Log, Shop drawings Log, Procurement Logs, Cash Flows etc.)
• Negotiation with vendors for final discounted offer.
• Preparation of Material Submittals for consultant’s approval.
• Assist the Design department for rectification of consultant comments on Shop drawings and Material Submittals.
• Coordinate with Procurement Department, generate the PRN for material and ensure timely delivery of material.
• Meetings and co-ordination with consultant for timely completion of project.
• Responsible for communication with Consultant and Client discussing and resolving on-site issues which may arise during the construction.

Experience: 1 to 2 years relevant experience.
