Job summary

Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB) invites applications for the Accountant & Cashier (PPS-7) contract position. The incumbent will manage PMU-Solar accounting records, oversee budget utilization and financial documentation, and handle controlled cash/banking transactions in line with government and PPIB procedures.

The role requires handling project accounting ledgers, reconciliations, and preparation of financial utilization and management reports, with duties including payroll

Qualifications

• Role purpose: Manage PMU-Solar accounting records, budget utilization and financial documentation.
• Maintain project accounting ledgers, expenditure records, cash/petty-cash books and bank documentation.
• Track PSDP releases, budget allocations, commitments, advances and expenditures and prepare financial utilization reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers, expenditure records and bank/cash documentation.
• Track PSDP releases, budget allocations, commitments and expenditures.
• Process payroll, allowances and other payments; maintain vouchers and tax records.
• Support internal and external audit and statutory compliance.
