Job summary

LAS is seeking an Outreach and Quality Assurance Assistant to support the Sindh Legal Advisory Call Center (SLACC) by strengthening outreach, community engagement, quality assurance, data verification, and communication activities. The role focuses on organizing awareness initiatives and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting to improve visibility and effectiveness of SLACC’s legal aid services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Media, or a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in outreach, community engagement, or quality assurance (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply)
• Strong writing, reporting, and documentation skills in English and Urdu; good interpersonal and coordination skills; proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media platforms
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes, data management, and communications strategies

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Community Engagement: plan and execute outreach with Communications and Program teams.
• Assist in organizing awareness sessions and events to boost visibility.
• Build relationships with local communities, partners, and stakeholders.
• Prepare event briefs, attendance sheets, and post-event reporting.
• Gather success stories and beneficiary feedback for reporting and communication.
• Coordinate with Communications for field coverage (photos, videos, interviews).
• Quality Assurance & Data Verification: monitor activities for quality and compliance.
• Conduct data checks and verify outreach reports from field teams.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy; maintain records securely.
• Translate or adapt content for internal/external sharing as needed.
• Support development and distribution of outreach materials (brochures, newsletters, social posts).
• Liaise with authorities and partners to ensure timely outreach execution.
