Job summary

Dr Frigz is looking for an innovative CNC Programmer & CAD/CAM Designer to connect R&D concepts with manufacturing. You will design specialized surgical instruments and optimize CNC toolpaths for medical use.

Your responsibilities will include CAD design, CAM programming, and process optimization, working closely with R&D and engineering teams to ensure production efficiency. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM design, specifically for multi-axis milling and Swiss-type lathes.
High proficiency in modern CAD/CAM software.
Deep understanding of machining dynamics and tooling selection for hard metals.

Responsibilities

Use advanced CAD software to model precision medical instruments and tooling.
Generate, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
Develop efficient machining strategies to reduce cycle times and improve surface finishes.
Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to transition prototypes into production.
Create setup sheets, tool lists, and SOPs for CNC operators.
