Job summary

Dr. Frigz International (Pvt.) Ltd. in Pakistan is seeking a skilled 2D/3D CAD Designer with experience in surgical instruments and CNC-manufactured products.

You will prepare technical drawings, create 3D models, and ensure designs are ready for precision manufacturing. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 2–5 years of CAD experience, with a focus on GD&T, tooling, and reverse engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–5 years of CAD design experience in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D technical drawings and 3D models of surgical instruments, CNC parts, components, fixtures, and tools.
• Develop technical drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Support new product development, reverse engineering, and design modifications.
• Coordinate with CNC, Production, Engineering, R&D, and Quality departments.
• Design and modify CNC machining components, jigs, fixtures, dies, and gauges.
• Maintain drawing revisions and technical documentation.
• Use professional 2D and 3D CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Ensure designs are suitable for precision manufacturing and CNC machining processes.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and 3D models, supporting product development, and ensuring designs are accurate and suitable for precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and modify 2D technical drawings and 3D models of surgical instruments, CNC parts, components, fixtures, and tools.

Develop technical drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

Support new product development, reverse engineering, and design modifications.

Coordinate with CNC, Production, Engineering, R&D, and Quality departments.

Design and modify CNC machining components, jigs, fixtures, dies, and gauges.

Maintain drawing revisions and technical documentation.

Use professional 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering design tools.

Ensure designs are suitable for precision manufacturing and CNC machining processes.

Requirements

DAE/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in 2D/3D CAD design.

Experience in surgical instruments and CNC-manufactured products.

Proficiency in industry-standard 2D/3D CAD and mechanical design software.

Good knowledge of mechanical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, and CNC machining processes.

Experience in reverse engineering and precision engineering is an advantage.

Ability to create and interpret detailed engineering drawings and 3D models.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
