Job summary

Pixalate, Inc. is hiring a SysOps Administrator for a full-time remote role based in Lahore, Pakistan. You will manage large-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, drive cost governance, monitor workloads, and lead release processes across environments.

You will work with DevOps tools like Ansible and Terraform, respond to alerts via Slack, and collaborate with an engineering team to improve reliability and security in production systems.

Qualifications

• Extremely strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience with engineering teams on complex products.
• Basic networking troubleshooting abilities.
• Responds quickly to alerts and Slack inquiries.
• Coding or scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to work some U.S. time zone hours.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of AWS and GCP cloud management; fine-tune cloud infrastructure.
• Improve resources and plan governance, budgeting, reporting.
• Monitor AWS and GCP usage with CloudWatch and Stackdriver metrics.
• Upgrade software, patching, disaster recovery and backups.
• Maintain CI environment and secure production applications.
• Identify and improve infrastructure practices and processes.
• Own and execute the release process across environments.
• Familiar with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
