Job summary

Dplit in Islamabad is seeking an AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and support a high-traffic mobile super-app on AWS. This role involves ensuring performance and availability of AWS workloads, responding to incidents, and improving reliability through automation and observability.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience with AWS services, solid Linux administration skills, and a proven track record in incident management. Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and a passion for automation are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience running production workloads on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services like EC2, VPC, IAM.
• Solid Linux skills and experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated incident management in a live environment.
• Competent scripting/automation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AWS workloads ensuring performance.
• Respond to incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage containerized workloads on Amazon EKS.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting dashboards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
