Job Description
  • Review and audit clinical documentation, patient records, and care coordination notes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Evaluate clinical workflows and documentation against established guidelines, internal policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential compliance risks, and elevate issues where appropriate.
  • Analyze audit findings and prepare clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, quality teams, and operations staff to address audit findings and improve documentation quality.
  • Monitor trends in audit results to identify recurring issues, training needs, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives by maintaining audit logs, tracking corrective actions, and following up on resolution status.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and reports for internal reviews and external audits when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare privacy, compliance, and documentation standards.
  • Use EMR and related systems efficiently to review, validate, and document audit activities.
Requirements

Education: MBBS or BDS or Pharm.D or Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) degree is required.

Work Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in clinical auditing, clinical documentation review, quality assurance, medical records review, or a related role in a US-based healthcare company is preferred.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication, strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, strong organizational and data entry skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Familiarity with EMR software, and understanding of healthcare documentation and compliance requirements.

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Work hours: 6pm - 3am PKT (Night shift)

Gross Salary (USD): $500-$600
