Job summary

UNDP is implementing the Flood Recovery Programme (FRP) in Pakistan, based in Quetta. The Project Engineering Analyst will plan, design and monitor civil works, oversee procurement, and manage third-party supervision to ensure timely delivery and adherence to standards.

The role requires advanced civil engineering expertise, strong coordination with stakeholders, and ability to work in a complex development environment within a UNDP framework.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field or equivalent.
• A first-level university degree with two years of qualifying experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and monitor civil works for FRP projects.
• Oversee procurement, contracts and third-party supervision of civil works.
• Ensure compliance with UNDP DoA, safety standards and quality controls.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide regular progress updates and documentation.
