Job summary

Mashreq Digital Bank seeks a senior operations lead to manage card issuance, reconciliation, settlements, and payment processing within ADC. You will oversee risk, compliance, and governance while leading large teams and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities include ensuring SBP PSD compliance, driving automation, and delivering accurate MIS and financial reports to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or Business.
8 to 12+ years of experience in banking operations.
Strong hands-on expertise in ADC reconciliation, digital payments, and settlements.
In-depth knowledge of digital payments and clearing systems.
Mastery of financial controls and reconciliation processes.
Proven leadership in risk management and audit functions.
Strategic thinker with disciplined execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead ADC reconciliation governance with end-to-end daily, intraday, and month-end reconciliations for ATM and POS transactions.
Oversee the complete digital payment processing cycle, including cut-offs, settlement windows, and fallback procedures.
Ensure SBP PSD Framework, AML/CFT, sanctions screening controls, and corporate policies are strictly followed.
Review and approve MIS, settlement, and GL reports; coordinate month-end/year-end closures.
Manage multiple teams responsible for reconciliation, settlements, and payment operations; set KPIs and drive development.
Coordinate with third-party vendors (1LINK, RAAST, card schemes) and manage escalations on settlement/reconciliation issues.
Champion automation and STP improvements; lead system upgrades and UAT for new digital capabilities.
