Job summary

Green Peak International is hiring a field-based Business Development Officer for Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited in Lahore. The role focuses on bringing in new customers and deposits by visiting businesses, shopkeepers and individuals in the branch catchment area.

You will report to the Branch Manager, spend about half your time in the field and half at the branch, and be rewarded with a fixed salary plus commissions and a monthly fuel allowance. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed; business degrees preferred.
• Experience in sales, customer service or banking is an advantage; fresh graduates welcome.
• Must live in Lahore and be able to work daily in the job location.

Green Peak International (GPI) is hiring Business Development Officers (BDOs) on behalf of our client, Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading microfinance banks. This is a field sales role for people who enjoy meeting customers, building relationships and earning based on results. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Role Overview

As a BDO, you will bring in new customers and deposits for the bank by building relationships with businesses, shopkeepers and individuals in your branch’s area. You will report to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and visit prospective customers, including businesses, shopkeepers and individuals in the branch’s catchment area
• Bring in new deposits and grow the branch’s customer base
• Open accounts and complete the related documentation
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers to build long-term relationships
• Achieve the monthly deposit target
• Represent Mobilink Microfinance Bank professionally in the local market

Field Work

• Around 50% of working time is spent in the field on daily visits to markets, businesses and customers
• The remaining time is spent at the branch on follow-ups, account opening and paperwork

Target

• Minimum monthly target of PKR 4 million in maintained deposits

Compensation and Benefits

• Fixed salary: PKR 50,000 per month
• Commission: 2% on total deposits once the PKR 4 million minimum is achieved
• PKR 4 million in deposits = PKR 80,000 commission
• PKR 6 million in deposits = PKR 120,000 commission
• Fuel allowance: PKR 10,000 in any month the target is met
• Example monthly earnings at PKR 6 million in deposits: PKR 50,000 + PKR 120,000 + PKR 10,000 = PKR 180,000

Requirements

• Completed bachelor’s degree; business degrees preferred
• Experience in sales, customer service or banking is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome
• Must currently live in, and be able to work daily in, the job location
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Target-driven, self-motivated and comfortable with daily field work
