SPERTON - Where Great People Meet is seeking a versatile Business Development Manager from the Construction Projects field with Civil Engineering background to lead project execution and commercial growth in Lahore. You will win new construction projects and then take ownership to deliver them on time, within budget, and to technical specs.

The role demands strong leadership, client engagement, and coordination with internal teams for successful tendering and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with PEC registration.
• 6–10 years experience in civil project execution and technical sales/business development.
• PEC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and grow revenue by securing commercial, industrial, and infrastructure contracts.
• Engage clients including developers, consultants, and general contractors to expand market footprint.
• Review BOQs and drawings to prepare competitive proposals and tender bids.
• Coordinate with internal teams to present technical solutions and project proposals.
• Oversee project lifecycles from ground-breaking to handover with safety and quality.

About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile "Business Development Manager" from Construction Projects industry with a strong background in Civil Engineering for one of our client to lead their project execution and commercial growth.

This dual-capability leadership role requires a professional who can win new construction projects and then take full operational ownership to execute them on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.

What Youll Do?

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth:

• Deal Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new commercial, industrial, and infrastructure project contracts.


• Client Engagement: Pitch directly to developers, consultants, general contractors, and corporate clients to expand companys market footprint.


• Tendering & Estimations: Review project BOQs, architectural/structural drawings, and technical specifications to prepare competitive proposals and tender bids.


• New Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects to expand the client base and revenue.


• Technical Sales: Understand client requirements and provide suitable technical solutions, products, and project proposals in coordination with internal technical teams.

2. Project Execution & Operations:

• Site & Operations Management: Oversee complete project lifecycles from ground-breaking through handover, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.


• Timeline & Budget Control: Manage project schedules, milestone tracking, resource allocation, and budget variance.


• Contractor & Vendor Supervision: Coordinate site engineers, sub-contractors, equipment suppliers, and labor teams to maintain momentum.


• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, structural consultants, and regulatory authorities during project delivery.

Who Youre?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (PEC registration required).


• Experience: 6–10 years of combined experience in civil project execution and technical sales/business development. Prior relevant experience is a must.


• Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, structural drawings, contract types (FIDIC/local), Primavera P6/MS Project, and BOQ estimation.


• Commercial Drive: Demonstrated capability to generate leads, conduct negotiations, and close high-value B2B projects.


• Skills: Excellent leadership, site management, negotiation, and executive presentation abilities.
