Job summary

CTO Recruiter is seeking a driven Business Development Executive in Karachi to drive revenue growth in the chemical sector, build long-term client relationships, and promote chemical actives across Personal Care, Home Care, and Pesticide segments.

You will identify opportunities, manage accounts, and engage in technical discussions to convert opportunities through consultative selling, leveraging chemistry knowledge and market insights.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, or BBA/MBA with chemical sales experience.
• 2-3 years in business development, sales, or technical sales within the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new opportunities in targeted segments and achieve sales targets.
• Position and promote chemical actives through technical discussions and solution-based selling.
• Conduct regular client visits to understand formulators' requirements and commercial expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with formulators, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry needs.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote chemical actives. You will be at the forefront of driving business initiatives within the Personal Care, Home Care, and Pesticide segments, combining technical expertise with market development capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (Highly Preferred due to the technical nature of the role) OR BBA / MBA (Sales / Marketing) with relevant chemical sales experience.
Experience: 2-3 years in business development, sales, or technical sales within the chemical industry.
