Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or commerce; MBA preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Create environment and team spirit for achieving financial and service level objectives.
• Plan branch functions with focus on loan and deposit acquisition within budget.
• Achieve self-funding status by balancing loans and deposits and act as a revenue center.
• Ensure economy in expenses and maintain frugality in microfinance operations.
• Act as credit officer and arrange loan approvals.
• Manage branch operations and administrative functions.
• Ensure timely opening and closing of branch hours.
• Organize procedures for smooth opening/closing with clearly assigned responsibilities.
• Coordinate branch flow to optimally deploy resources and conduct capacity planning.
• Oversee collection and recovery to limit delinquencies and losses.
• Ensure accurate execution of financial transactions and integrity of processes.
• Manage cash to meet daily requirements and prevent idle cash.
• Arrange training for branch staff and develop leadership potential.
• Prepare branch for internal/external/SBP audits on demand.
• Take responsibility for the bank’s reputation and financial reconciliation.
