Job summary

Translation Empire PK in Rawalpindi/Islamabad is seeking Bosnian interpreters and translators to work across health care, legal, educational, immigration and refugee services. The team conducts conference, consecutive and public service interpreting, handling confidential information and liaising between service users and providers.

Required are fluency in English or another language, a degree in English-related fields, and an IELTS certificate with a 6.5 overall and 6.0 per subtest.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English or another language.
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
• IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• Any other interpreting related qualification.
• Must sign and agree to a surety bond and Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.

We are currently recruiting for Bosnian interpreters and Translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc.

The Job

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.

You will:

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements

• Fluent in English or another language
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
• You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
• You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
