Job summary

Translation Empire PK is recruiting Arabic interpreters and translators to work onsite in Rawalpindi/Islamabad across health, legal, education and immigration services. The role involves interpreting with high accuracy, including conference and public service settings, while handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
• IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including minimum 6.0 in each subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
• Must sign and agree to a surety bond.
• Must sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

We are currently recruiting for Arabic interpreters and Translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc.

The Job:

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original ‘source’ language, then reproducing the speech into the ‘target’ language with 100% accuracy.

You will:

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Fluent in English or another language

• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond.
• You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
