Job summary

UBL is seeking a Bank Customer Service Representative to provide information about bank products and services, assist customers in-person and over the phone with financial transactions, service set-ups, and other inquiries to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent service with knowledge of products, handling inquiries promptly, ensuring compliance with bank policies, and supporting colleagues while promoting the bank's offerings.

Responsibilities

• Provide splendid customer services to customers in a friendly and courteous manner at all times
• Have sufficient knowledge about banking products and services and respond to all inquiries accordingly
• Improve customers’ banking experience by ensuring prompt service and resolving challenges without delay
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, code of conduct and regulatory guidelines
• Inform and suggest new banking products to customers
• Provide information on account status and balances
• Open new bank accounts according to laid down rules
• Promote bank products and services to increase customer satisfaction
• Liaise with other departments to assist staff
• Participate in marketing and awareness campaigns to grow the customer base
• Establish cordial relationships and ensure prompt attention to inquiries
• Protect customers’ confidential information
• Assist in financial and marketing transactions
• Channel complex complaints to the right quarters for resolution
• Engage in training and contribute knowledge to the department
• Promote teamwork and contribute as an active team member
• Responsible for CIF amendment and Dormant activation
