Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a passionate AP Accountant in Pakistan to join our Finance Team. You will maintain the general ledger, reconcile bank statements, and support month-end and year-end close activities in a dynamic tech distribution company.

The ideal candidate has a finance or commerce degree and 2-4 years of GL experience, with strong English communication and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in GL up to finalization of accounts.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accruals and prepayments are correctly recorded.
• Retrieve bank statements and reconcile against internal records; post adjusting journals.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with timely, accurate financial statements.
• Perform/oversee complex balance sheet reconciliations and coordinate with auditors.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring all transactions (accruals, prepayments, intercompany, depreciation) are correctly recorded.
• Retrieve bank statements and systematically match internal accounting records against bank transactions and post adjusting journal entries in the accounting software to account for bank fees, interest, and errors.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial statements.
• Perform/oversee complex balance sheet reconciliations and manage relationships with internal and external auditors.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 2:4 years of experience in GL up to finalization of accounts role.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
