Job summary

Pakistan Engineering Works (PEW) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Sales in Karachi to drive industrial sales across government and commercial sectors. You will develop new business opportunities, promote PEW products, and nurture key customer relationships to achieve targets.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in B2B or engineering sales, with a Bachelor's in Business Admin, Marketing, or Mechanical Engineering; MBA is a plus. Travel for client meetings and exhibitions may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• MBA will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, Engineering Sales, or Manufacturing Sales.
• Experience in heavy fabrication, steel structures, engineering equipment, construction materials, or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of tender documentation and procurement procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
• Promote PEW's engineering products and manufacturing solutions to potential clients.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with technical and production teams to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in tenders, bidding processes, and pre‑qualification submissions.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
