Job summary

Pakistan Engineering Works (PEW) is seeking an Assistant Manager - Sales to drive growth across industrial, commercial, and government sectors from its Karachi base.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in B2B/industrial sales, with a Bachelor’s in business, marketing, or engineering (MBA preferred). You will promote PEW’s engineering solutions, coordinate with technical teams, and lead negotiations with major clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, Engineering Sales, or Manufacturing Sales.
• Experience in heavy fabrication, steel structures, engineering equipment, construction materials, or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of tender documentation and procurement procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
• Promote PEW's engineering products and manufacturing solutions to potential clients.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with technical and production teams to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in tenders, bidding processes, and pre-qualification submissions.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
