Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • 5-7 years of pharma engineering, projects, construction, utilities or regulated industry.
  • Experience in CAPEX management, equipment installation, commissioning and documentation.
  • Understanding of cGMP, GEP, commissioning, qualification and change controls.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end delivery of pharmaceutical engineering projects from concept to closure.
  • Coordinate CAPEX planning, technical docs, vendors, milestones, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Assist with risk assessments, deviations, CAPAs, and project reporting.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will support the end-to-end delivery of pharmaceutical engineering projects, from concept and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification, handover, and project closure. You will coordinate CAPEX planning, technical documentation, vendors and contractors, project milestones, and commissioning and qualification activities, while ensuring delivery within approved scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will also support risk assessments, change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and project reporting, ensuring that engineering deliverables and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

  • Maintaining strong documentation discipline throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Balancing attention to detail with effective project execution
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical engineering, projects, construction, facilities, utilities, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience in project execution, CAPEX management, equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and engineering documentation.
  • Practical understanding of cGMP, GEP, commissioning, equipment and facility qualification, and engineering compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical facilities, HVAC, cleanrooms, utilities, and critical engineering systems will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, change control, deviation, CAPA, risk assessment, and project handover processes will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, or other relevant engineering and project management tools.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager Engineering Compliance and works closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams, as well as external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
