Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited in Karachi is looking for a dedicated customer service professional to guide domestic customers through the process of obtaining new connections, collecting required documents, and coordinating surveys.

You will verify applications, forward papers for CC&B ID, assist in site surveys, handle reconnections, meter-shift requests, and ensure compliance with risk, ethics, and conduct policies while supporting the zonal manager.

• Guide domestic customers on applying for new connections and provide application forms with prerequisites.
• Check application form completeness and verify submission of required documents.
• Forward documents to generate CC&B ID.
• Assist in initiating site surveys for new connections and submit reports to the zonal manager.
• Assist in site surveys for reconnection requests of existing customers.
• Assist in document scrutiny for existing and new connections.
• Assist in generating demand notes for new connections and handing them to customers for payment.
• Process applications for shifting meter location on the same premises.
• Guide customers on clearing outstanding dues for reconnections and forward to survey section.
• Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
• Undertake other assignments as instructed by supervisor.

Job description

• Guide prospective domestic customers on the process of applying for new connection and receiving the application forms along with prerequisite documents.
• Perform the basic check on completeness of application forms and ensure that customer has submitted the required documents.
• Forward the documents for generation of CC&B ID.

• Assist in initiation of physical survey of the site where new connection is required and after completion of the survey, submit the survey report to zonal manager for further decision.
• Assist in conducting physical survey of existing domestic customers' reconnection requests.
• Assist in document scrutiny of both existing and new connection requests.
• Assist in generating demand note for new connections and handing over the demand note to the customers for payments.
• Process the applications for shifting of meter location on same premises of the customer.
• For reconnection requests, guide the customers on clearance of outstanding dues and forwarding to survey section for survey report.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
