Job summary

Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited is seeking an Assistant Engineer Quality Control to oversee QMS for pipe manufacturing and coating operations at Nooriabad. You will supervise inspectors, coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors, and ensure API Q1 and ISO 9001 compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a BE in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Metallurgy from PEC with 2–6 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, and training skills.

Qualifications

• BE degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing/metallurgy from PEC with min 3.0 CGPA.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in quality control/QAQC.
• Familiarity with API QMS and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve QMS as per API Q1 and ISO 9001.
• Supervise inspectors at inspection stands/stations in pipe and coating plants.
• Manage internal and external quality audits.
• Prepare work instructions and ensure product compliance with client specs/orders.
• Coordinate with client representatives and third-party inspectors for pipe inspections.
• Coordinate internally with relevant departments and externally with clients, certification bodies and regulators.
• Evaluate training needs for quality staff and deliver QA/QC training.
• Ensure housekeeping and safe working environment at QC stations.
• Analyze and evaluate quality efficiencies (reject/accept rates).
• Prepare and monitor annual QA/QC expense budget.

• Education / Qualification: BE (Mechanical / Industrial and Manufacturing / Metallurgy ) from PEC recognized Engineering University with minimum 3.0 CGPA.

Job Description
