The ideal candidate should have a B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/QC for high-rise building projects. Responsibilities include developing QA/QC plans, overseeing quality testing, and ensuring compliance with international standards. Managerial experience and a certification in quality control are preferred. The role requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC for high rise building projects.
• Prior managerial experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, ACI, BS, PEC codes and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the QA/QC team at site.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Oversee batching plant operations and quality testing procedures.
• Evaluate construction methodologies for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Approve material sources and maintain a verified supplier list.
• Review test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate QA/QC matters with contractors and internal teams.
• Conduct quality visits and enforce compliance.
• Prepare monthly quality performance reports.
• Ensure implementation of ISO 9001 for continual improvement.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

To Lead and manage all QA/QC functions across civil building projects to ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, and PEC standards, while enhancing quality systems, optimizing costs, and improving construction methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, train, and supervise the QA/QC team at site.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific QA/QC plans and method statements.
• Oversee batching plant operations, concrete mix designs, and quality testing procedures.
• Evaluate construction methodologies and introduce cost optimization measures without compromising quality.
• Ensure all materials, workmanship, and testing meet project specifications and international standards.
• Approve material sources and maintain a verified list of reliable suppliers and testing labs across Pakistan.
• Review and approve test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams for all QA/QC matters.
• Conduct quality visits, review site practices, and enforce compliance.
• Support procurement and site teams in selecting technically sound and cost-efficient materials.
• Prepare and present monthly quality performance and improvement reports to management.
• Ensure implementation of ISO 9001 and continual improvement of QA/QC systems.

Qualification

• B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Certification in Quality Control is Preferred

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC for high rise building projects.
• Prior Managerial Experience is Preferred
