Job summary

Murkez Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Management Assistant to support lease administration, insurance, and facilities coordination across a multi-brand restaurant portfolio. This role focuses on tracking deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication with landlords, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include lease and contract administration, data management in Excel, and drafting communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or lease administration is strongly preferred.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and multi-tab workbooks.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with ability to manage a large volume of files.
• Familiarity with lease terminology (CAM, SNDA, estoppel, percentagerent, TI allowance, lease abstract).
• Experience coordinating with landlords or vendors in restaurant, franchise, or multi-unit retail environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage deadlines across lease options, insurance renewals, inspections, and other recurring dates.
• Maintain organized filing systems for leases, franchise agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Read leases and contracts to extract key terms such as rent, renewal options, responsibilities, and insurance requirements.
• Build and maintain tracking spreadsheets in Excel, including formulas and multi-tab workbooks.
• Draft letters and emails to landlords, and communicate with landlords, property managers, vendors, and lenders.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Development, Operations, Accounting) regarding leases and facilities.
