Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company in Pakistan's Karachi region is seeking a Logistics Leader to drive operational excellence in secondary transportation for the IC Business, focusing on cost, service, and carbon footprint.

You will standardize processes, lead Activity Based Costing, fleet design, and TMS deployment, and collaborate with regional teams to benchmark performance and deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics, with at least 2 years in managing logistics operations.
• Experience in Distribution planning, Regional 3PL management, TMS implementation, distribution transition would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define best practice logistics standards and drive continuous performance improvement through benchmarking.
• Reduce cold chain transport losses through logistics transition management and best-in-class transport management processes and tools.
• Drive CO2 reduction in warehouse and transportation activities and reduce CO2 footprint.
• Lead initiatives on Activity Based Costing, fleet design, transport processes (Right Truck type, shipment module, TMS), and benchmarks to improve KPIs.
• Collaborate with in-country teams, quality, safety, and finance to deploy best-in-class transport processes and tools.

JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence in CD secondary transportation operations for the IC Business in Pakistan, exploiting and optimizing Magnum’s use of transportation design and operation to improve customer service, cost and carbon footprint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Step up to deliver savings performance through defining best practice Logistics standards – Processes & Operations and driving continuous performance improvement through benchmarking
• Reduce Cold Chain Transport related losses through defining & implementing logistics transition management processes and implementing best-in-class transport management processes & tools
• Drive CO2 reduction initiative in Warehouse & Transportation activities and reduce CO2 footprint
• Lead initiatives on Activity Based Costing, fleet design, setting up Optimal logistics transport processes (Right Truck type, shipment module, TMS), Transport management system, Internal & external benchmarks on cost, quality performance to drive improvement in transport KPIs.
• Work closely with in-country geographical team, quality, safety, and finance team and support them through deployment of best-in-class transport processes, tools and driving continuous improvement through internal & external benchmarks

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics, with at least 2 years in managing logistics operations.
• Experience in Distribution planning, Regional 3PL management, TMS implementation, distribution transition would be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
