Job summary

The Outsourced Expert is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead a team delivering accounting services to international clients in Lahore.

You will manage client communication, understand requirements, handle queries, and ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards while supervising the accounts team and improving workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience in outsourced/accounting delivery.
• Experience with international clients and client-facing leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Excellent English communication, meetings, and query management.
• ACCA/CA/CPA preferred.

Job description

The Outsourced Expert is looking for an experienced accounting professional to lead a team responsible for delivering accounting services to international clients. The primary focus of this role is to manage client communication, understand and address client requirements, handle queries, and ensure all deliverables meet agreed expectations and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience working with international clients, proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks Online, and previous experience in a similar client-facing accounting or team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, managing day-to-day communication, meetings, queries, and follow-ups.
• Client Requirements: Understand client expectations, reporting needs, deadlines, and specific instructions, ensuring these are clearly communicated to the team.
• Service Delivery: Coordinate and oversee accounting work to ensure deliverables meet client requirements, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
• Query and Issue Resolution: Address client concerns, resolve accounting-related queries, and proactively communicate progress or potential delays.
• Accounting Oversight: Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reports, and month-end accounts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support the Accounts team, allocate workloads, monitor performance, and ensure accountability for client deliverables.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term client relationships through professional communication, reliable service, and a clear understanding of clients' businesses.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting, and service delivery based on client feedback and business requirements.
• Client Satisfaction and Retention: Proactively engage with clients, address concerns, gather feedback, and ensure accounting services consistently meet their expectations to strengthen trust and long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or outsourced accounting environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role involving international client management, accounting delivery, and team coordination.
• Strong practical experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and other accounting tools.
• Experience working with international clients, preferably from Australia.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with confidence in conducting client meetings and managing client queries independently.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, time management, and team leadership skills.
• ACCA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification completed will be preferred.
