Job summary

Zaeem Foods - TASTE UP, a Rawalpindi-based snacks and spices manufacturer, is seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial recordkeeping and day-to-day accounting activities. The role will help maintain reliable financial information for production and business operations.

The position requires strong knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and Excel, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet recurring reporting deadlines for

Qualifications

• Proficient in bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas and reporting.
• Experience using accounting software and maintaining digital records.
• Ability to prepare bank and supplier reconciliations accurately.
• Understanding of basic financial reporting and tax documentation.

Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting financial documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and expense tracking.
• Monitor inventory-related accounting records and coordinate with production and procurement teams.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries, reconciliations, and reports for management review.
• Support tax documentation, audit preparation, and compliance with applicable accounting requirements.
• Safeguard confidential financial information and follow established internal controls.
