Job summary

Kanzah Fashion, a Karachi-based apparel and fashion company, is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, AR/AP, cost control, and financial reporting. The role partners with operations, production leads, and vendors to ensure accurate books and timely insights.

The successful candidate will maintain journals, prepare statements, analyze cost of goods sold, and support budgeting while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping: journals, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, BUSY, SAP Business One).
• Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Ability to prepare financial statements, cash flow forecasts and management reports.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication for coordination with operations and suppliers.
• Problem-solving and ability to recommend process improvements and strengthen controls.

Responsibilities

Overview

The role supports production, procurement, inventory costing, payroll, and financial reporting to ensure accurate books and timely insights for management. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, production floor leads, and vendors to maintain cost control and compliance.
