Job summary

Sunrice Foods (Pvt) Ltd is expanding its local footprint in Pakistan and seeks a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily financial operations in our Lahore office. You will handle bookkeeping, reconciliation, and vendor payments in a growing FMCG environment.

You will collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, with hands-on exposure and opportunities to grow with a fast-moving brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / BBA Finance).
• 1–2 years of experience; fresh graduates with strong academics welcome.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for the local office account.
• Report to the Accounts Manager in HQ while managing day-to-day financial operations for our new office.
• Record and reconcile all income, expenses, and reimbursements.
• Process fuel and market visit reimbursements for the sales team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly expense summaries and budget vs. actual reports.
• Manage petty cash and vendor payments; support tax filing and compliance documentation.
• Track receivables and flag overdue payments from buyers.

As Sunrice Foods expands its local footprint in Pakistan, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands‑on exposure in an FMCG environment and is excited to grow with a fast‑moving brand.
You will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate bookkeeping, inventory reconciliation, vendor payments, and financial reporting. We’re building systems from the ground up, so we’re looking for someone reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a structured but evolving setup.
