Job summary

Mohsin & Co Developers is seeking an on-site Accountant in Rakhni to manage daily financial operations for project and corporate accounts. You will handle bookkeeping, journal entries, ledgers, invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

You will support budgeting, cost tracking for construction projects, and prepare financial reports for management and auditors while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA/CA/CMA certifications are an advantage.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel, including formulas and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations for projects and corporate accounts.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Rakhni. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers for projects and corporate accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, reconciling bank statements, and monitoring accounts receivable and payable. The role involves assisting with budgeting, cost tracking for construction projects, and preparing financial reports for management and auditors. The Accountant will also ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, while coordinating with project managers, procurement staff, and external stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control, preferably within construction or project-based environments.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets, formulas, and financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, invoicing practices, and compliance requirements relevant to Pakistan-based businesses.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams, vendors, and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
