Qualifications

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting and GL reconciliations.
• Experience preparing financial statements, monthly reports, journal entries and schedules.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and month-end closing with controls.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets for financial reporting and data organization.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Accountant for a sister company to maintain accurate financial records and support reliable reporting as the company delivers technology-enabled business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, general ledger accounts, bank statements, and payment activity.
• Prepare monthly accounts, schedules, and management reports, ensuring figures are complete and supported by documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, track invoices and collections, and coordinate timely payment processing.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, financial analysis, and period-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized accounting records and support tax filings, audits, and compliance with applicable Pakistani requirements.
• Work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide clear financial information for operational decisions.

This role is based in Lahore and works closely with colleagues across a software business. The successful candidate will bring sound accounting judgment, attention to detail, and a practical approach to maintaining controls in a growing company.
