Job summary

BSS, a Lahore-based distributor of surgical disposables and medical consumables, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support accurate financial operations and reliable business reporting. The role involves maintaining records, processing routine transactions, and coordinating with procurement, inventory, sales, and distribution teams in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end procedures.
• Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, expense recording, and payment documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and structured financial reports.
• Experience with accounting software or enterprise financial systems and accurate data entry.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing invoices, purchase records, inventory documents, and supporting evidence.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, perform follow-ups, and communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors.
• Understanding of basic Pakistani tax, audit, and financial record-keeping requirements is preferred.
• Strong organization, confidentiality, time management, and problem-solving skills.
