KMC Careers is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage inquiries and billing operations in a fully remote role. You will handle invoices, AR, and adjustments while collaborating across departments to ensure accurate records and timely payments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in billing/finance, strong English communication, and proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Zuora or ServiceNow is a plus. APAC hours for the first three months, night shift hours Philippines time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or finance experience.
• Experience in Customer Service is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills (Excel). Advantage: Zuora and ServiceNow experience.
• Ability to handle large volume of details and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer billing inquiries via email, chat and live phone calls (including Zoom).
• Process Billing and AR tasks for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments on customer accounts.
• Review invoices and create manual adjustments as needed.
• Process credit and debit adjustments and update billing records.
• Assist with payment posting and reconciling procedures.
• Support Collections in managing disputes and payments.
• Assist Revenue/System team with data cleanup projects.

• Investigate and respond to customer billing inquiries via email, chat and live inbound/outbound phone calls including live over Zoom
• Customer and internal-facing with the ability to process Billing and AR aspects of the business
• Proficient knowledge of workflow between multiple programs (Zuora, OP, Salesforce)
• High-level account analysis, research, and troubleshooting with technical issues the customer faces via the billing portal and billing system
• Ability to collaborate with other departments cross functionally regarding customers' accounts and inquiries
• Review invoices and create manual adjustments as necessary

• Update billing records with contact information changes
• Assist with payment posting and reconciling procedures
• Assist the Collection team in managing customer disputes and payments
• Assist Revenue/System team in data cleanup projects
• Identify and elevate issues found in the billing system to engineering for resolution
• Assist the Billing Manager in evaluating current processes, recommend and implement improvements to improve operational efficiency and successful customer experiences
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or finance experience
• Experience in Customer Service is preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English language

• Actual shift: 10PM to 7AM Philippine time
