Job summary

RecruitGo in the Philippines is hiring a Junior Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients using Xero, including payroll, invoicing, and reporting. You will handle daily cloud-based tasks with focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires 1 year of Australian accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Dext/Deputy. This is a work-from-home position in the Philippines with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• MS Excel: intermediate/advanced proficiency.
• Familiar with cloud-based accounting add-ons such as Dext and Deputy.
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and customer focus.
• At least 1 year of experience with Australian accounting.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily in the Xero cloud accounting system.
• Issue client expense invoices to ReceiptBank/Hubdoc for processing.
• Post invoices from ReceiptBank/Hubdoc into Xero.
• Prepare expense pay runs and ABA files.
• Record unreconciled bank transactions to the general ledger.
• Raise client sales invoices as instructed.
• Handle payroll preparation and employee records maintenance.
• Prepare and process employer superannuation obligations; manual journals in Xero.
• Process payroll data to the ATO under Single Touch Payroll.
• Manage client debt with automatic reminders and statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare month-end journals.
• Generate financial reports from Xero.
• Perform processing with third-party integrated apps.
• Other data entry tasks as requested.
