Optum Philippines seeks a qualified Workday Technical Consultant to join our global healthcare platform. You will configure, support, and enhance Workday Procurement and Inventory, manage data and security, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of Workday development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across time zones, including US business hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday technical development and configuration experience, preferably supporting Workday Procurement, Inventory, or related Workday Financial Management and Spend Management capabilities
• Solid hands-on experience configuring and enhancing Workday business processes, including condition rules, validations, approval routing, notifications, and security configurations
• Experience developing and maintaining Workday custom reports, business objects, data sources, calculated fields, and data-validation/reconciliation solutions
• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations and data interfaces, including troubleshooting integration failures, data issues, and interface exceptions
• Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical production issues involving Workday configurations, integrations, security/access, data discrepancies, calculated fields, reports, and business‑process exceptions
• Experience supporting Workday security configurations, including analyzing access issues and understanding the impact of security permissions on reports, fields, and configurations
• Understanding of Workday tenant management, configuration migration, change control, release management, regression testing, and deployment practices
• Working knowledge of procure‑to‑pay and inventory processes sufficient to translate business requirements into technical Workday configurations and solutions
• Proven ability to assess technical dependencies and downstream impacts of Workday configuration changes across business processes, integrations, reporting, and related functionality
• Proven solid analytical and technical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable Workday configurations and technical solutions
• Proven ability to work independently, manage technical deliverables and priorities, collaborate with global functional and technical teams, and provide clear status updates
• Willingness to continuously develop Workday technical expertise and work during US business hours when required

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies and directives
• Configure, support, and enhance Workday SCM capabilities, primarily Workday Procurement and Workday Inventory
• Support end-to-end procure-to-pay and inventory processes
• Maintain supply chain master data and related hierarchies
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable Workday solutions
• Configure and troubleshoot Workday business processes, condition rules, validations, and security policies
• Design and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Support integrations with suppliers, finance systems, and other applications
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing; document defects
• Manage change-control activities and migrations across Workday tenants
• Monitor ServiceNow queues and resolve incidents within SLAs
• Assist with Workday releases, maintenance, and production readiness validation
• Analyze root causes and contribute to knowledge transfer
• Identify automation and data-quality improvements in procurement/inventory
• Work with cross-functional teams across time zones with limited supervision
• Comply with employment terms and company policies
