Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Workday Supply Chain Technical Developer to optimize procurement and inventory processes. You will configure Workday business processes, security, and integrations, and develop reports and dashboards for procurement, inventory, and supplier data.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and global teams to deliver scalable solutions. The role involves testing, releases, and ongoing knowledge sharing to improve processes across the supply chain

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on Workday technical development and configuration, esp. Procurement/Inventory.
Experience configuring Workday business processes, rules, approvals, and security.
Proven work with Workday reports, data sources, calculated fields, and data validation.
Experience with Workday integrations and data interfaces; EIB/Connectors/Studio preferred.
Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot, and resolve production problems independently.

Responsibilities

Configure, support, and enhance Workday Supply Chain Management capabilities (Procurement, Inventory).
Support end-to-end procure-to-pay and inventory processes including transfers and adjustments.
Design and maintain reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and reconciliation controls.
Assist with Workday releases, security reviews, and production-readiness validation.
Monitor integrations with suppliers and finance systems; troubleshoot failures.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing with clear defect docs.
