Job summary

Cornerstone Energy Development, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Plant Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of wind turbine generators and balance-of-plant systems. You will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, assist in troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with EHS standards.

You will work with the Plant Engineer and Plant Supervisor to deliver results and gain hands-on experience in a purpose-driven energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Practitioner is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in Wind Power Plant is desirable.
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems, SCADA, PLCs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines, substations, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Perform inspections (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic) in accordance with OEM and company standards.
• Support troubleshooting of WTG faults and accompany OEM contractors during troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist in blade inspections, oil changes, borescope checks, and component replacements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
