Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Plant Engineer for wind to oversee the technical operations, maintenance, and reliability of wind turbine generators and balance-of-plant systems. You will coordinate with technicians, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safe, cost-effective, and compliant operations.

You will lead troubleshooting, perform root-cause analysis, review maintenance plans, and support condition monitoring and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a professional engineer license.
• Experience with wind turbine systems and maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of wind turbine generators, substations, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Review and approve maintenance plans, checklists, and service procedures.
• Support condition monitoring and recommend predictive maintenance actions.
