Vena Group is seeking a site-based Electrical Engineer to oversee all BOP construction activities for a utility-scale wind project. You will supervise cabling, substations, and transmission line works, coordinating with contractors, utilities, and grid operators to ensure QA/QC compliance on time and to spec.

The role requires on-site commitment, strong contract and risk oversight, and leadership of the on-site QA/QC team while ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer with 5+ years in power generation construction.
• Experience on wind power projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine Grid Code, PEC, and international standards.
• Experience working with utilities and transmission companies.
• Willingness to be assigned on-site for the project duration.

Responsabilités

• Monitor BOP contractor work for cabling, substation, and transmission lines.
• Coordinate with authorities and contractors on electrical scope.
• Manage on-site QA/QC and safety documentation.
• Prepare daily progress reports with contractors.
• Assist in contract management and risk oversight.
• Verify deliveries meet quality specs; sign off completed works.
• Support permit-to-work processes and PtW sign-offs.
