Job summary

Vena Group seeks an experienced Owner’s Representative to oversee electrical and control system installations, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and standards. The role leads QA/inspection activities, reviews ITPs, test packs, contractor records and NCRs to secure safe, compliant delivery.

You will monitor cabling, substations, transmission lines and grid connections, coordinating with contractors and authorities.

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering and a Licensed Electrical Engineer.
5+ years of relevant construction engineering experience from power plants (ideally wind).
Good knowledge about Philippine Grid Code, PEC and international electrical standards.
Experience working with Utilities and Transmission companies.
Comprehensive contract and QA management experience.

Responsibilities

Act as Owner’s representative to oversee electrical installation and control systems.
Lead quality assurance and inspection activities by reviewing ITPs, test packages, records and NCRs.
Monitor contractor performance across cabling, substations, transmission lines, and grid connections.
Coordinate with contractors, authorities, and internal teams to manage risks and track progress against schedule and design requirements.
Maintain safety leadership and documentation, support audits, and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare and maintain QA records and NCRs; participate in PTW meetings and handover readiness.
