Job summary

Grandspan Development Corporation is seeking a Welding Inspector to ensure the quality and safety of welding processes at our manufacturing facility. This full-time role requires you to conduct inspections, approve raw materials, and generate compliance reports.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years of steel fabrication experience, along with various NDT method certifications. This position is critical in maintaining our product standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of steel fabrication experience required.
• Certifications in all major NDT methods are essential.
• Hands-on experience with AWS D1.1, ASTM, SSPC and AISC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and safety of welding processes.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise erection of works.
• Generate non-conformance reports for compliance failures.
• Prepare inspection reports for all fabricated items.
• Conduct dimensional inspections as per drawing requirements.
