Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of welding engineering experience.
• Experience in welding process development and welding metallurgy R&D.
• Strong understanding of stainless-steel welding metallurgy.
• Hands-on experience with EBW, LBW, GTAW, and furnace processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new processes, technologies, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document welding and brazing processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing and welding operations.
• Analyze welding processes, troubleshoot defects, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop welding specifications based on industry standards and customer requirements.
