Job summary

Manulife Financial seeks a Trade Support Specialist to deepen exposure across trade matching, settlements, post-settlement activities, and cash management. You will work with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Brokers, and Custodians to ensure efficient operations and risk controls.

The role emphasizes understanding investment operations, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with global partners in a hybrid environment with a fixed night shift as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, Fund Accounting, or similar functions.
• Strong understanding of investment operations, trade lifecycle, settlements, and cash management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement and fixed night shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support across trade matching, settlements, post-settlement activities, and cash management.
• Investigate and resolve trade and cash-related queries raised by Portfolio Managers, Traders, Brokers, Custodians, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage operational, settlement, and reputational risks while adhering to controls.
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and root cause analysis for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with onshore and offshore partners, supporting cross-skilling.
