Job summary

Manulife is seeking a seasoned Trade Support professional to provide daily operational support across settlement and cash management functions. You will collaborate with Front Office, brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure smooth trade lifecycle execution.

The role emphasizes process improvement and risk management. Candidates should have 5+ years in Trade Support or Investment Operations, strong communication, and proficiency with Bloomberg/CTM/Simcorp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance related field.
• 5+ years in Trade Support, Middle Office or Investment Operations.
• Familiarity with cash management, trade management and fund operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; VBA is a plus; knowledge of Bloomberg/CTM/Simcorp recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day operational support (Trade Matching, Settlements, Post settlements, Cash Management).
• Communicate and resolve trade and cash queries from Front Office and external teams.
• Manage relationships with fund managers, custodian banks, brokers, and auditors.
• Develop enhanced procedures and controls for high quality services to front office and clients.
• Manage risks related to trades and cash to avoid failed settlements.
• Provide timely production updates to TL/Manager and collaborate with tech for data improvements.
• Participate in projects by researching needs and implementing solutions.
• Assist ad-hoc analyses to identify root causes of production problems.
• Help assess and resolve critical business and system issues in operations.
• Identify workflow weaknesses and help implement effective solutions.
