Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
• LOMA, Canadian Securities Certification or CFSI is preferred; LEAN, Six Sigma (Scrum Master), Yellow belt trained/certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day operations for Trade lifecycle, Cash management, reconciliation, corporate action, communications, and credit functions.
• Communicate, investigate and resolve trade, cash queries, and issues raised by Advisors, Call Centre, and other stakeholders.
• Actively manage risks related to trades and cash to avoid operational losses.
• Improve business processes and controls to mitigate operational risks.
• Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to Management in a timely manner.
• Drive and assist on process improvements and collaborate with technology partners for data enhancements.
• Provide assistance on projects – research, identify needs, and develop/implement solutions.
• Remain current with securities/investments industry developments impacting activities of portfolios and custodial service providers
