Job summary

Sappo Hille Inc in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is seeking a Water Filtration Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain our water filtration/treatment system. You will ensure proper equipment operation and accurate recording of water quality readings.

The role requires knowledge of water quality parameters (pH, TDS, turbidity, chlorine), experience with RO systems, and adherence to sanitation and safety procedures. Training and safety certifications are a plus; shifting schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.
• Experience in water filtration, water treatment, RO, or utility operations preferred.
• Knowledge of pH, TDS, turbidity, and chlorine.
• Familiar with backwashing, chemical dosing, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Aware of sanitation, chemical handling, PPE and safety procedures.
• Physically capable of operating and inspecting the filtration system.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor filters, pumps, valves, tanks, RO systems, and related equipment.
• Record daily water quality readings and equipment checks accurately.
• Perform backwashing, filter cleaning, chemical dosing, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure accurate recording of water quality readings.
• Report abnormalities or equipment issues to supervisor/QA-QC.
• Conduct routine inspection and operation of the filtration system.

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Water Filtration Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain our water filtration/treatment system. The successful candidate will ensure proper equipment operation, accurate recording of water quality readings, and compliance with sanitation and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor filters, pumps, valves, tanks, RO systems, and related equipment

• Conduct and properly record daily water quality and equipment checks

• Perform backwashing, filter cleaning, chemical dosing, and basic preventive maintenance

• Ensure accurate recording of water quality readings

• Immediately report abnormal readings, leaks, equipment problems, or water-quality concerns to the Supervisor/QA-QC

• Perform routine inspection and operation of the filtration system

About you

• At least High School graduate; technical/vocational training is an advantage

• Preferably with experience in water filtration, water treatment, Reverse Osmosis (RO), or utility operations

• Knowledge of basic water quality parameters such as pH, TDS, turbidity, and chlorine

• Knowledgeable in backwashing, filter cleaning, chemical dosing, and basic preventive maintenance

• Familiar with proper sanitation, chemical handling, PPE, and safety procedures

• Physically capable of performing routine inspection and operation of the filtration system

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and accurate in recording readings and reporting abnormalities

• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, if required

• With relevant certification or training in water treatment/water filtration system operation (preferred)

• Experience with RO and water treatment equipment is an advantage
